Greek nerds unite! "Indomitable: The Dragonphoenix Chronicles" - the first Greek epic fantasy film based on a comic book series - looks like is actually going to be distributed in Greek theatres! The film debuted during the Athens Film Festival and sold over 1.000 tickets in just 2 days making its way into distribution an easier task! This is the first feature film by Thanos Kermithis and will be distributed by FilmBoy Pictures. The film is based on the comic book series "The Dragonphoenix Chronicles" by the awarded John Rouboulias, who actually stars as Drago, the main character. This is a unique film, as apart from being the first epic fantasy Greek film, it is an independent production, exclusively funded via crowdfunding! Great and refreshing news for the (struggling) Greek film industry! And here's the latest trailer to get a glimpse (sorry - not English subtitled yet):
